A Famous Name In Wedding Cards
About Us
Welcome to Japan Art Press — Pakistan's trusted name in wedding invitations, favor boxes, and nikah nama design since 1957.
Our StoryWelcome to Japan Art Press
We are one of the leading manufacturers of Pakistani wedding invitations and coordinated stationery in Pakistan. Our story begins with the partition of India and Pakistan, when our founding family relocated and started building a printing legacy in the old city of Lahore. That legacy became Japan Art Press in 1957. In 2003, we brought it to Shadman, opening our wedding studio at the heart of Lahore's most trusted wedding market.
We don't just print cards — we print memories. Every invitation, favor box, and nikah nama we create carries the spirit of Pakistani wedding tradition. You'll see it in our Mughal art, our mandala patterns, and the regional heritage we draw from Punjab, Sindh's Ajrak, and Baloch craftsmanship. Our designers and craftsmen work with precision and heart, so the first thing your guests hold in their hands feels like the beginning of your story.

Why is "Japan" in your name if you're a Pakistani company?
The name reflects our standard of quality and precision, the same values Japan is globally known for. It's not a connection to Japanese culture or design. Japan Art Press is a proudly Pakistani company based in Lahore, and our art, patterns, and craftsmanship are rooted entirely in Pakistani heritage: Mughal art, mandala motifs, and regional traditions from Punjab, Sindh (Ajrak), and Balochistan.
Do you offer Japanese style or Japanese inspired wedding invitations?
No. Our designs are entirely inspired by Pakistani wedding culture and tradition. We do not offer Japanese style stationery.
Where is Japan Art Press located?
Our roots are in old Lahore, where our family began this legacy after the partition of India and Pakistan. In 2003, we opened our wedding studio in Sharja Centre, Shadman Market, Lahore, and we ship our products worldwide.
How long has Japan Art Press been in business?
Our legacy began after the partition of India and Pakistan, and Japan Art Press was formally established in 1957. In 2003, we opened our dedicated wedding studio in Shadman, Lahore, where we operate today.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship across the world. International orders may need extra lead time for production and shipping, so we recommend reaching out early, especially if your wedding date is fixed.
Can I customize my wedding cards (colors, wording, design)?
Absolutely. Every order can be personalized — colors, wording, layout, and design details — to match your wedding theme. Our team works closely with you to bring your vision to life, whether that's a traditional Mughal inspired design or a more modern take.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Production and delivery timelines vary depending on the design, customization, and quantity ordered. We recommend contacting us on WhatsApp as early as possible in your wedding planning so we can confirm a timeline that fits your date.
